Your eBay life can sometimes be just like your social life. Sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and sometimes we all wake up with a head full of regrets. For these times intoxication is usually the best excuse. That’s why we issue DWBs (Drunk While Bidding).
Every man who refuses to grow up knows why someone would want to buy a fully drivable Batmobile. We are just giving it a DWB because alcohol will probably help when answering the following questions:
--Why do you need a car that big?
--What were you thinking?
--Don't the kids need a college fund?
--Did you think I was going home with you in that?
--Really?
This is listed as a 1989 Batmobile replica. Unlike some movie props, this is a road-legal crime fighter -- currently keeping the citizens around the Columbus, Ohio area safe from replica bad guys. There are even retractable firing Browning .30 caliber machine guns that are rigged to fire blanks at any Joker wannabes. And if they flee, the Corvette drivetrain means this can keep up to 120 mph!
To review: this is a super hero car with working guns and 100+ mph top speed…yup, there are definitely some interesting tickets in the new owner’s future.
The purchaser of this vehicle will be the hit at every tailgate party, the envy of all his (male) friends, and the loneliest one at the bar. Of course that’s just our opinion. According to the current owner, “if you drive it to the club, the most appropriate phrase would be ‘like shooting fish in a barrel’.” So maybe he found someone who would like to ride with Batman:
